The DAL agency organisation in Germany comprises DAL Schiffahrts-Agentur (DALSA) with offices in Hamburg and Bremen (100% owned by DAL) and Deutsche Schiffahrts-Agentur (DSA) with offices in Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and Stuttgart (a joint venture in which DAL has a 50% share).
The main activity of DAL Agency organisation is the representation of DAL's liner services in Germany - this being the traditional trade between Europe, the Canary Islands and Southern Africa (SAECS) and services to and from the Indian Ocean Islands. The DAL Agency organisation has also expertise in the break-bulk and project-segment and represents the Maritime Carrier Shipping (MACS) Service to Southern Africa.
To meet the intermodal requirements of our valued customers, the DAL Agency organisation offer all forms of land transport and numerous value added services. There is hardly any requirement regarding container transport within Germany which cannot be handled.
